Please Read.

I just received an email from a parent asking about practice this week. As a reminder. .

Coach Paul sent out an email on Sunday adjusting our practice schedule for the next couple of weeks. If you can make it . . .

We DO HAVE PRACTICE TONIGHT, THURSDAY, AT COTTAGEWOOD AT 6:00. SAME FOR NEXT THURSDAY. (located near the General Store.) We will practice inside the hockey rink. Another team will be using the field.

WE DO NOT HAVE PRACTICE TOMORROW, FRIDAY-(Holiday weekend), OR NEXT FRIDAY (Twins Night).

If you cannot make practice, please let Coach Paul know. His cell number is 612-741-9724. Thx.

Hello Phillie Families,

Coach Paul has cancelled practice tonight due to the rain. However, please note the following reminders:

1- Our game for this Saturday, May 3rd has been rescheduled for this Sunday May 4th at 5:30 p.m.;

2- Our team has concession duty THIS Sunday from 11:30-4:30. If you need a reminder as to which shift you signed up for, please let me know;

3- TWINS NIGHT tickets are due NEXT Friday at practice. Please plan on attending this event, if you are able! Any questions regarding TWINS NIGHT or if you need another form, please ask.

REMINDERS:

1- If you have not signed up for concessions duty, please do. Our date is Sunday, May 4th. We need one more parent from 11:30 am - 2:00 pm and one more parent from 2:00 - 4:30 pm. Please check your calendars and let me know what time you are available. I hope to bring copies of the final schedule to practice this Friday.

2- Practice is set for this Friday at 7:00 pm at Clear Springs on one of the fields behind the school.

3- Uniforms will be handed out at practice on Friday evening. I apologize in advance if anyone's jersey is too big. As a team, we were only given 2 small jerseys and we had to fill 3 large jerseys.

4- Picture day IS this Saturday, May 19th at 10:20 a.m. at MME in the cafateria. Our team is NOT rescheduling.

It seems as though Spring is finally here. Go Phillies!!

Hello everyone!

PLEASE READ:

1) There will be NO practice tomorrow for the kids.

BUT

2) Coach Paul would like the parent(s) to meet at the St. Therese School cafeteria from 5:30-6:00 for a very brief meeting to get acquainted, discuss the season and to pay the initial fees.

3) As the season progresses we will collect for the end of year picnic/party as well as for gifts for our dedicated coaches.

4) FINALLY, PLEASE NOTE THAT PICTURE DAY MAY VERY WELL BE RESCHEDULED FOR OUR TEAM DUE TO THE SCOUT CAMP CONFLICT. COACH PAUL AS WELL AS SOME OF OUR PLAYERS MAY BE AT CAMP.

We apologize for the short notice, but hope we will see/meet everyone tomorrow evening.

Hey TPs! If you haven't already done so, today is a great day to send out a reminder to your teams that Bennett Family Park's Clean Up Day is postponed until SUNDAY, APRIL 13 starting at noon. Please tell them "Your help is needed and very much appreciated. Please bring work gloves and a ladder. We hope to get the ETLL batting cages, fences and wind screens installed as well as general tidying up the park, things like: weeding, sweeping, garbage pick up (GREAT job for kids!!)raking, etc..." The equpiment pick up will still be on Saturday, so your coach will have all equipment needed for the season as well as the uniforms, hats included, for your teams.

Just a quick note that the fees for this year total $35.50. This covers treat tickets ($18), silent auction ($10), shirts ($4) and hats ($3.50). Please bring a check made payable to me on Friday to practice. Thanks.

The calendar on our website has been updated with our team schedule. Remember practices are Friday evenings at 7:00 at Clear Springs unless notified otherwise. And, our game on May 31st (the day following TWINS NIGHT) isn't until 11:00 so the kids can sleep in!

Hello baseball parents,

There are several dates you may want to put on your calendars now along with some information that will hopefully answer most of the questions you may have.

First, the dates and times: You can also look at the calendar on our home page for dates and times. I recommend adding our home page to your list of favorites. Once on the ETLL site, we are under CP-7, and of course, Phillies.

1- April 11th, 7:00 pm, First Practice, at Clear Springs. Coaches will take the kids and parents will have a brief mtg. to chat and collect fees for the season. This will likely be a bit more than in past years as treat tickets are now $1.50 rather than $1.

2- April 12th, 11:00 a.m.- ?? Spring Clean- Up and Equipment Pick Up at BFP. If you can help, please do. Batting helments will be for sale at Equipment Pick Up. Please note that every player must have her/his own batting helmet.

3- April 19th,10:20 .. . Picture Day at MME Cafeteria. Please arrive at 10:10 in FULL uniform from cleats (if you wear them) to hats. Absolutely NO BATS are allowed for safety reasons.
**PLEASE NOTE: This is also Spring Camp for scouts. If you will not be able to attend picture day, please let Coach Paul know ASAP. If necessary and if a majority of players/coaches are not present, teams are able to reschedule picture day. Either Coach Paul or I will let you know if our picture date/time changes.

4- April 26th- First games of the season! Once Coach Paul has the schedule, we will forward it to you.

5- May 3rd-Opening Day at BFP. Please bring donations for the local food shelf.

6- May 30th. . TWINS NIGHT vs. the Yankees. This is not Memorial Day weekend. This is a great chance for families to have some fun while supporting BFP! I will have more information about Twins Night at our first practice.

7- June 18, ETLL Parent Party and Dinner and Auction. Again, more info will be available at our first practice.

REMINDERS: PLEASE bring your checkbooks (not cash) to our first practice on April 11th. And, as always, we have LOTS of coupons for DICK'S SPORTING GOODS . . .10% off cleats, bats, gloves. . . If you would like one before our first practice, please let me know and I'll get it to you.

Hello Baseball Fans,

I am Paul Boynton and I am your child’s baseball coach this year for Coach Pitch 7. Mark Hansberry, Jon Yanta, and Travis Dye have also signed on to coach. Jo Holmstrom has volunteered to be our team parent. Jo has a team parent meeting on Tuesday and she will be getting all kinds of wonderful information for us at that time. I will send you another Email later with all kinds of interesting dates and times but this is our initial contact. I know the kids are all eager to know who they will have as team mates.
